# Record a journey A/B-split conversion

> Record a goal-reached (conversion) event for a contact who previously passed through an in-journey A/B-split node. The variant the contact was assigned to is resolved automatically, so callers supply only the contact plus an optional goal name and value. Returns 404 when the contact has no assignment on that split node.
