# Revoke a CDP ingest secret

> Revoke a single CDP event-ingest secret by id so it can no longer authenticate calls to the public `/cdp/v1/{ingest_id}/*` ingest endpoints. Revoke immediately when a key leaks or a source is decommissioned; revocation is irreversible, so mint a fresh secret with `POST /api/v1/cdp/secrets` for any source that still needs to send events. Returns 404 when the secret does not exist or was already revoked. Owner / admin / developer only, and the revocation is audit-logged.
