# Score one contact synchronously and evaluate a send-time decisioning gate

> Scores ONE contact synchronously against the trained CDP predictive models (churn propensity, conversion intent, predicted lifetime value) — the persisted contact_scores columns can be up to ~24h stale, so call this in the send path the moment a campaign or journey is about to message the recipient. Per-contact results are cached briefly so a burst pays the feature lookup once. Optionally pass uplift (against a past campaign's control holdout) and gate — threshold rules over the live scores that return a deterministic send / downgrade / suppress verdict the caller's send wiring enacts. This endpoint decides, it never dispatches. Owner / admin / developer with the contacts:read scope.
