# Get general workspace settings

> Returns the organization record behind Settings → General: workspace name and slug, plan, logo, the full `settings` bundle, and the regional preferences (`timezone`, `locale`, `dateFormat`), billing currency and effective short-link domain surfaced at the response root. Read it when you need the values the workspace will actually apply — the timezone quiet hours are evaluated in, the currency costs are charged in, or the host your shortened links resolve to. If the organization row is briefly unreadable the endpoint still answers 200 with a neutral record whose stored fields are null; retry to get the real one.
